WILLIAM PEEL, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished
Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander
of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong
Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same,
do by these presents appoint you THOMAS HENRY KING
provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure to
be temporarily an Official Member of the Legislative
Council of Hong Kong.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Colony, at Government House, Victoria, Hong Kong, this
23rd day of October, 1934.
